Wakeboard tournament Sept. 20

The University of Kentucky is hosting its first intercollegiate wakeboard tournament on Sept. 20. There will be prizes for podium finishers in all divisions. There will also be a $1000 cash prize for the outlaw division winner, and $500 cash prize for the advanced and womens division winners. Two round competition with top finishers of each heat competing at the end of the day. There are a limited number of spots so register early. Hang around after the competition for a party that night. Camping on site. Early entry fee is $35, and late entry fee is $45. Check in at 8, competition starts at 9.

Novice: Up to 1 invert or spin
Intermediate: 2-4 inverts or spins
Advanced: 5-7 inverts of spins
Outlaw: 8+ inverts of spins
